Pragya Jaiswal, a former Miss India 2008 contestant and renowned south actress, has captivated her fans with remarkable performances in movies like Kanche, Nakshatram, Kurukshetra, and more.
In 'Akhanda', Pragya is paired opposite Balakrishna. Reflecting on her experience working with him, she expressed, "Initially, I felt a bit intimidated about sharing the screen with Balakrishna as I had never acted alongside someone of his stature. He is incredibly senior to me."

Originally scheduled to release on May 28, the film's release date is yet to be announced due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Alongside 'Akhanda', Pragya is also reportedly set to appear in Salman Khan's highly anticipated film 'Antim: The Final Truth'.
